STRUKTEC™ Slimline® 10mm

Designed for both residential and commercial use, STRUKTEC™ Slimline® is a low depth version of our original STRUKTEC™ Cavity system.

  • 50+ year lifespan

  • Recyclable

  • Suitable for coastal & seismic environments

  • New construction or retrofit

  • Internal or external application

STRUKTEC™ Slimline® offers two key benefits. It can be internally attached to a building frame, eliminating the need for internal wall linings like gib or cement board. It also provides separation transfer from minimal frame substrate movement to the surface. Secondly, it can be fixed externally over a code compliant rigid air barrier system, which should be installed plumb and in plane before attaching the Slimline® system.

STRUKTEC™ Slimline® is also available in a 20mm cavity compliant model for external use.

Learn How It Works

The components of the STRUKTEC™ Slimline® system are crafted from extrusion-grade aluminum, engineered to precise shapes and thicknesses.

The design of this system caters specifically to the installation of various facade surfaces, including sintered stone, porcelain, ceramics, thin stone, metals, and composite materials.

With a sleek depth of only 10mm, the Slimline® frame and adhesion system allow for easy vertical attachment in a consecutive parallel manner. This meets design requirements typically spaced between 400-600mm apart.

Our advanced chemical elastic system ensures secure adhesion of the facade surface to the frame while accommodating continuous expansion and contraction. It also provides instant panel positioning and includes a thermal break achieved through advanced structural bond tape or approved thermal break materials.

This versatile and elegant system is supplied as standard with a satin black frame. The joints between panels can be left open as a negative detail or filled with foam backing rod and flexible, neutral cure sealant in a colour to suit your project.

The system's design specifically caters to the installation of various facade surfaces, such as sintered stone, porcelain, ceramics, thin stone, metals, and composite materials.
